Other Stuff

Whatever else band related you want to say. Like if you found a site (or a short bus), or if it's t-shirt related or something like that, post it here.

OK, Jordan...

Let's play OCD trivia!

First question:
Has OCD ever played a gig?

A. Yes
B. No, never...
C. Maybe
D. Only in their dreams...

Answer:
D! Only in their dreams!!!

Next Question:
Do they know all of their parts to the songs?

A. Yes
B. Most of them
C. Well, considering they've never really practiced with their drummer...
D. What?!?!?!?

Answer:
C! Well, considering they've never really practiced with their drummer...

Now a question for the audience!
Would have them play in their current state...?

So, in conclusion, yeah, we're better than that garage band down the street (they weren't even in tune, couldn't finish a whole song, and the drummer just kinda banged on those cymbal looking things and pretended to be an actual drummer...) but if we would actually get things accomplished in practices we'd actually be quite good... Ooooo, after this summer...

Hey Michelle!.. Jackie here, yes ur little musical theater pal ;) I just wanna say I think you guys are awesome for having such a love for music! But I was wondering if you want to do something with it for your future.  Like as a career.  If so that'd be so VERY awesome, but you would definitely have to get out of this horribly ignorant and limited town!.. I'm planning on pursuing my love of acting, so if you ever decide to move to New York later in your life.. we'll have to see each other there cause thats sho nuf where im headin! haha!!  maybe L.A. if im lucky! ;)  I just wanted to post a message to give you some encouragement and tell you people actually do read your info!  haha jk.. well im not kidding but you know.. OH I have one more question, is this Jordan your talking about..well I don't wanna say her last name online so I'll ask you tomorrow but if im right, i think this is the one that hates me and we hissy fitted at one another in Lambert's room a few months ago... If it is her, well tell her that I'm only really supporting you in this post! B/c she hates me, and me.. well.. umm never mind let's be nice now, Jackie.  Okie dokie I've jabbered enough, dawg,  Good luck with everything..byeeeee!   ~JACKIE..another victim of Harrison :)

Part One...

Hey Jackie!  OK, I wrote this whole big long pointless thing to you and then I decided to go find those singing horses...  Well, my computer froze up and I lost everything I wrote!  *unhappy noise*  Just to start this out, yeah, it's the same Jordan that you had the little hissy fit with in Lambert's room.  And our other guitarist is April, the dancer that always dyes her hair.  And our current drummer is Sir Frances, an art major.  So the whole band not only goes to Harrison, but rides the same afternoon busses...  I think all of our former band members go to Harrison too.  Wow...  It's like a cult...  Anyway, yeah, I'd love to be a professional musician.  Music has always been my first love.  In fact, I don't even know how I ended up in Musical Theatre.  I'm not an actress, I don't dance, and as far as singing goes, if it's not something in Italian talking about people tyeing my shoes, I usually don't sing it.  We always thought I would get in for piano, but I didn't even audition for that.  Whatever.  I'm happy where I am, so it doesn't matter.

Part Two...

Anyway, I really do want to make music part of my career.  What I really want to do now is perform the things I've written and just have fun with my friends.  If I can do that and not starve, then that would be perfect for me.  I mean, yeah, I'd have to tour and be sleep deprived, stressed out of my mind, borderline insane, and a pretty darn good hobo (sounds a lot like HAC, eh?), but hey, I'd get a bus!  How can you not like a bus?  I really don't want to move out of Florida.  There's a lot of talent here.  A lot of great bands came out of Florida and with the internet to use for my advantage I have the world at my fingertips.  (and yeah, the whole freaking county is ignorant and it doesn't help that we live in the retirement capital of the universe which just happens to be right next to redneckville...  joy...)  But if I don't make it as the next annoying little girl with a guitar, I think I want to do something behind the scenes.  You know, tell bands they suck and that they'll never get a record deal, but we sign them anyway and then I'm forced to convince them to actually change their chord progressions once in a while...  Then later, against their will, I come back and enhance it digitally and make them sound 10 times as better than they ever could be on their own and leave the person doing the live shows to deal with how badly they suck...  =)    Well, I've probably maxed out the character limit, so I'll babble more later!  See ya Monday!  Good luck with juries!  =)
